The Little Glory! Elder Joel Wahome
My name is Joel Wahome Waweru. Am a born again Christian. I am a husband to Teresiah and a father of two daughters.
I am a business man owning a chicken eggs store in Nakuru town.
I am also an ordained elder at PCEA church (Dr. Arthur located in Nakuru).
I once served as a head of loss control team at Mathai Supermarket in Nyeri under Hipora Business Solutions before I changed my career into preaching ministry where I became an assistant pastor at a charismatic church called ‘ Righteousness and renewal Ministry’ where I served for 3 years before I joined PCEA Dr Arthur where I did my church wedding in 2016.
I started schooling at Jamhuri primary school and later joined Menengai High School in 2003.
After obtaining grade B Plain, an achievement I am proud of, I joined Egerton University where I did Bachelor of commerce (insurance and Risk management option) and graduated with a second upper division in the year 2011.
It was after 10 years that I got a personal calling after undergoing some serious health challenges and as a result I ended up joining Presbyterian University where I enrolled for Bachelor in Theology in the year 2018 and graduated on 2021 a course that was meant to take 3 and 1/2 years only to be derailed by covid-19 pandemic.
I have a passion for preaching where I have severally been invited as a guest preacher.
I like reading religious books the Bible being my most favourite one. Am currently reading ‘The kingdom of the cults’ by Ravi Zacharias that helps in apologetics.
Am aspiring to be an international preacher in the teaching ministry.
Am inspired by pastor Joshua Suleiman from Nigeria and apostle William Kimani of Kingdom seekers fellowship.
Given an opportunity I would like to preach in a foreign nation like in the U.S and other English speaking nations if it is in line with God’s will.
Blessings.
